Plans for 2025-26:
1. Plan and conduct the annual WWBC Scholarship competition.
For 2025-26, the WWBC has set aside $10,000 to provide 7-15 students with merit-based scholarships. Applications will be due on March 15, 2026. To apply, students must: (1) complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and have received a Student Aid Report, and (2) document their acceptance by one or more universities or colleges.
The Committee will review each application and the student’s high school transcript using a common rating scale to assess: academic achievement, course selection, grades, attendance, as well as participation in sports, extra-curricular activities, clubs and organizations, and completion of community service.
Seniors in the Jump Start Scholarship Program are not eligible to apply for these scholarships. However, seniors applying for any of the Donor-Sponsored Scholarships are eligible to apply for the WWBC Scholarships.
